The renovation of this 100 year old heavy timber building included replacement of the roof, one of the wood stairways, the water pump system, renovation of both freight elevators and one passenger elevator to meet current codes as well as repairs to underground sewer piping, addition of a new passenger eleevator and fire alarm system. The work also included completely gutting the first floor for the purposes of conference and meeting rooms, support spaces, and shipping & receiving functions. The entire 5th, 6th and 7th floors were renovated to meet current codes, update infrastructure deficiencies and allow for more flexible, efficient and presentable work spaces. Other major components of the work included furniture procurement, multi-phased construction, major mechanical repairs and replacement of information system cabling.
